New job and Vappu

What a nice start for celebrating the Labour Day on May 1st (Vappu) - the day of the students and labour. The planning seminar of the thesis on Thursday, was success and yestarday I heard I got a job as a project secretary whose duty is to prepare the Congress of the Social Democratic Youth in Finland (Demarinuoret) on the end of May. This time Board Meeting is very special because the SDY will celebrate the age of 100 years. Busy May ahead!

I am waiting my new flatmate Anssi to move in any minute with his stuff. I am pretty sure we will go out tonight and have a pre-start for Vappu. Tomorrow leaves the Loveboat 2006 - the annual finnish gay and lesbian cruise - where we both are going to participate. On a boat I am going to work on Man to Man - safely project by the Finnish AIDS Council. On this project aim is to give information about safe sex, distributing condoms and lubricants. Project is trying to decrease the number of HIV-infections from sex between men. Boat is not only about work but also meeting friends and having fun.
